Frustrated by a lack of innovation in the world of headphones, we decided to take matters into our own hands. Wireless Earbuds have been available for a few years, but until now there hasn’t been a set that brings together great sound quality, stylish appearance and practical design for sports and leisure.

We did some serious research on what features really improve the listening experience, and we settled on a few key priorities. Firstly, ION had to have an excellent fit regardless of ear type. Second, it needed to have a long range for home listening. Finally, it needed to have a long battery life so you could realistically take your music or podcasts with you all day.

How did we address these challenges? Well, we’ve bundled three sets of earbuds with ION so you can choose the size that suits you best. We’ve combined Bluetooth and aptX technology to deliver a 10 meter (30 foot) range, and we’re providing power with high-end rechargeable Li-On batteries.

But during this process we came had a startling realization: What if you could keep your earphones on all day without worrying about losing them or having them get in the way? We made it our mission to achieve this dream, and eventually came up with the answer: Magnets.

With ION we’ve created a fashion accessory and a practical everyday tool you can take with you to work, to the gym, and on adventures. The magnetic clasp fastens the earbuds together, so you can keep wearing ION even when not in use. Along the cable you will find an in-line microphone and control panel, putting you within easy reach of calls and music without ever needing to touch your phone!
